Bidvest Wits and Mamelodi Sundowns are understood to still be considering a deal which would see Sibusiso Vilakazi and Nyasha Mushekwi move in opposite directions.

The two clubs are alleged to have come close to brokering the deal in the July/August transfer window, however the window slammed shut before the deal could be concluded.
Recently the Siya crew reported that Vilakazi could still be on his way out of Wits in the January transfer as he has fallen out of favour under coach Gavin Hunt.
Sundowns are keen on bringing the player to Chloorkop and with the Clever Boys looking to keep up their early season form and continue challenging for the league, they could look to reignite the swap deal for Mushekwi to soften the blow of losing their star player.
Should the move materialise, it is likely that Downs will have to pay a fee in addition to handing over Mushekwi.
The Zimbabwean is seen as surplus to requirements at the Brazilians at the moment and has spent loan spells in Belgium and Sweden of late.
Mushekwi is now in the last year of his contract at Sundowns and the club could look to use him as part of the Vilakazi deal instead of losing him on a free at the end of the season.
