Word reaching the Siya crew is that former SuperSport United goalkeeper coach, William Shongwe, has been roped in by University of Pretoria to help in the goalkeeping department.
According to a source close to AmaTuks, the club management is not happy with the work done by the current goalkeeper coach, Tendai Tanyanyiwa, and have asked Shongwe to assist with the view to hiring him permanently in the future.
Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi of Rush Hour Sports Management, the company that represents Shongwe, could not confirm nor deny to the Siya crew if his client will take over the goalkeeping coach role at Tuks.
"All I can confirm is that William is indeed at Tuks to help out in the goalkeeping department. At this stage he is just helping out as a goalkeeping specialist," said Mulovhedzi.
Shongwe left SuperSport at the end of last season after suffering from a recurring back injury. He has now recovered from his injury and is looking at going back to coaching goalkeepers.
