Pretoria City Sports Academy (PCSA) has been invited to play in a tournament in the United States of America.
According to PCSA's chairman, Sinesipho Mali, the Tshwane-based academy is eager to take part in the Copa Rayados International tournament scheduled for later this year.
"Our U19 team has been invited to the Copa Rayados International tournament that will take place in the USA in November. I have been in contact with some academies from that side.
"We were recommended to the tournament by one of the academies. We were accepted to the tournament after they saw our profile. We will be one of the 16 teams accepted in this year's competition.
"The tournament is scheduled for 27 November to 1 December and we are sending out proposals to try and get sponsorships. There is a lot of money involved and we have to get ourselves there.
"We will pay for our accommodation and meals and we are doing our best to find people that can sponsor our trip. Our plan is to take 22 players and five team officials. We want to give our boys exposure."
