A defender who struggled for regular game time at TS Galaxy this past season is facing uncertain future at the club.
After making only 13 appearances in all competitions in Galaxy's 2020/21 season, Marks Munyai is being linked with an exit from the club, according to well-placed sources.
The defender has been the only surviving member of the players he was unveiled with back in 2019 during the days of Highlands Park before the club was sold to current owners and renamed, after the likes of Wayne Jooste, Thela Ngobeni‚ Limbikani Mzava‚ Makhehleni Makhaula and Rodney Ramagalela left in pursuit of greener pastures.
While Galaxy is yet to officially confirm player movements, indications are that Munyai could not form part of the plans for coach Owen da Gama's team in the new season.
The 30-year-old, who can play either as a right-back or on the wing, previously played for Black Leopards.
