Tributes Pour In For John 'Shoes' Moshoeu

Tributes are pouring in from all walks of life, since the sad news of John 'Shoes' Moshoeu's passing. Moshoeu had been in and out of hospital this year, as he struggled with his health.

The news of his passing was announced on Tuesday, with the football legend having succumbed to cancer at Morningside Clinic in Johannesburg.

The social media platforms have been inundated with tributes for the late football star.

Here are some of the tweets from men and women in the South African football fraternity:  

Renowned football agent Glyn Binkin tweeted:

In response to the sad news, former SAFA referee Jerome Damon tweeted:

The details of Moshoeu's funeral are expected to be communicated by his family in due course.
