The Magic have bolstered their squad with a number of former top tier players as the ABC Motsepe League side aim to gain promotion to the NFD.

The club's co-owner, George Dearnaley, is confident they have put together a well balanced squad that can push for promotion.
"We have a good combination of experience and youngsters," the former Bafana Bafana international said.
"The club's assembled a decent enough side. Let's see what happens."
The recruits include Tshepiso Tshabalala (formerly of Orlando Pirates), Gerald Xowane (Thanda Royal Zulu), goalkeeper Jaleel Johnson (Chippa United) and three defenders in Sphelele Mkhize (FC Cape Town), Keenan Dickson (Cape Town All Stars) and Brandon Joshua (University of Pretoria).

In addition, the club has also added 18-year-old striker Ryan Naidoo, previously of Orlando Pirates' U17 side, and Cole Solomon, an attacking midfielder back from a spell with Cape Town City, to their roster.
