SuperSport United Are In Fine Form At Present

SuperSport United find themselves in a rich vein of form at present, with Stuart Baxter seemingly overseeing a turnaround in the club's fortunes.   Read: Masango Sent To Youth Team In Denmark   Matsatsantsa have lost just six of their 30 games since Baxter arrived at the club, winning 16 and drawing eight, after losing 12 of the 30 games prior to his appointment, and also managed to clinch the Nedbank Cup trophy at the end of last season.   Now, after sneaking past Mamelodi Sundowns on penalties in the Telkom Knockout, SuperSport find themselves on a nine-game unbeaten run, showcasing their best form since 2013, and have won five matches in a row for the first time in nearly three years.   Baxter's side are also in fine form in front of goal – scoring 13 in their last five matches – and are currently the highest scoring team in the Absa Premiership following their 6-1 demolition of Orlando Pirates last week.   It remains to be seen whether the Tshwane-based outfit can keep up their impressive form of late, but Baxter will be pleased to see them placed second in the league and into the TKO semi-finals as he looks to add more silverware to their trophy cabinet.
