Leruma United FC claim to have groomed the SA U23 and Bafana Bafana international from a young age into the player he is at the moment.
The ABC Motsepe League side claim that Sundowns did not follow the correct procedures to acquire the player's signature.
Leruma owner, Leruma Thobejane, is demanding a multi-million rand compensation fee from the Premier Soccer League giants.
"I'm very unhappy with Sundowns about Motjeka Madisha. I didn't take the player to Sundowns. Sundowns just took him. One day I woke up in the morning and got phone calls from people saying, 'Hey, look your player is now playing for Amajita in the Cosafa Cup somewhere.' They told me it was reported that the player came from Sundowns. They were asked, 'When did you release him to Sundowns?' I told them that I knew nothing about that. I engaged Sundowns and spoke to Mr (Mike) Ntombela.
"The gentleman told me that they were not aware that the player had come from me. He promised to speak to their attorneys with the aim of requesting a clearance from us. He said once the player was registered with the first-team, we would be paid a development fee. I told him that was not an issue.
"I wanted their attorneys to contact me and would have been happy to sign whatever and give them the clearance. I told him that I didn't want them to play the player in the ABC Motsepe League. They registered him with M Tigers, which is their feeder team," said Thobejane.
Madisha, 20, was in the Bafana Bafana squad that played in this year's Cosafa Cup under Ephraim 'Shakes' Mashaba.
The defender has been called up to the South African U23 side for their upcoming games.
