CAF African Nations Championship
Teams: Ghana v Libya
Date: 17 January 2013
Venue: Free State Stadium
Ghana and Libya will be hoping to pick up a victory in Friday's African Nations Championship clash at Free State Stadium to top Group C, and virtually assure their place in the quarter-finals after winning their opening group games.
Maxwell Konadu's men scraped through to a 1-0 win over Congo in their opening fixture thanks to a fortunate deflected first-half goal by Theophilus Anobaahand and will be hoping for an improved performance from the Black Stars.
Libya's Spanish coach Javier Clemente oversaw his men comfortably dispatch Ethiopia 2-0 in their opener thanks to goals Elmutasem Abushnaf and Abdelsalam Omar and the Mexican will hope that the Mediterranean Knights can put in a similar performance.
The winner of this group will face the second placed team in Group D, making qualification through to the semi-finals that much easier.
Here is how they line up:
Ghana XI: Stephen Adams, Godfred Saka, Tijani Joshua, Adusei Kwabena, Nuru Sulley, Michael Akuffu, Jordan Opoku, Theophilus Anorba, Richard Mpong, Yahaya Mohammed, Sule Mohammed
