Stanley Menzo Was Happy With Sirgio Kammies' Ajax Debut

Stanley Menzo was pleased with how Sirgio Kammies acquitted himself in his senior debut against Bidvest Wits as he helped them keep a rare clean sheet in Braamfontein.   Read: Komphela - Blame Me, Not Chiefs Players   Kammies, a South African youth international, was promoted to the Urban Warriors' first team last year after impressing in their academy ranks and has waited patiently for his shot at Absa Premiership football.   After making the bench on two occasions this season, Menzo decided to throw the 19-year-old into the deep end against the Clever Boys, saying that he passed the test with flying colours.     Click here to check out the PSL fixtures   The Ajax coach told the media, "He did very well for a youngster. His debut was not in an easy match against Wits, so I'm very proud of him. I gave him a big compliment, and it's now for him to keep this level and try to make steps forward. If he does that then all will be well with him."   With Kammies at right back, Ajax managed to keep a clean sheet in the league for the first time since September, although were not able to pick up three points as they remained second from bottom in the Absa Premiership.
