Siphelele Ntshangase Monitored By Big Clubs

With Siphelele Ntshangase slowly approaching the end of his contract with Black Leopards, as he will be left with one year on his deal at the end of the 2016/17 season, the Siya crew has gathered that he is being monitored by a few clubs in the PSL.

Bidvest Wits are believed to be leading the race for the player's signature, with a few other clubs also said to be keen.

Following the progress he has made while playing for the South African senior and U23 teams, the attacking midfielder has been linked with a move to Mzansi's 'Big Three' of Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs, among other clubs, in recent seasons.

With the 23-year-old player's contract with Leopards set to expire at the end of the 2017/18 season, a source close to him has told the Siya crew that it seems as though he will not extend his spell with Lidoda Duvha.

While the player's representative, Mandla Mthembu, declined to comment on Ntshangase and a possible PSL move, Leopards' PRO, Berry Ramunenyiwa, has told the Siya crew that the club won't stand in Ntshangase's way should he want to move on with his career.

"Siphelele belongs to Black Leopards. If it does happen that he will have to move, it won't just be about Siphelele deciding, but it will be a whole team issue. He will have to decide if it's time for him to move to another team and for the team to say where we are at the moment with offers that we are receiving. But it's safe for now to say that there have been none of those offers that could form any decision.

"Let me add that Black Leopards' policy is that we do not stand in the way of the player when he feels that he is ready to move. That is why we have players that left us to play for top-flight clubs. There is no player that can remain in a team forever. We are aware that we have a gem in Siphelele. He is a very good player," said Ramunenyiwa.
