Senzo Meyiwa's Father Has Passed Away

Sam Meyiwa, who is the father of the late Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa, has passed away.  

In recent years, Meyiwa senior has been vocal about his son's death and has always wished that justice would prevail and that the former footballer's killers would be arrested.

However, the perpetrators are yet to be arrested for the murder which occurred in 2014 in Vosloorus. Following his son's death, Meyiwa senior's life was never the same as he struggled with illness. 

In their official Twitter account, Bafana Bafana confirmed that Meyiwa senior passed away this morning.
