A South African footballer has secured a move abroad as he looks to further his career in the 2021/22 season.
As confirmed by the player's representatives, Jacob Serame Hlalele has concluded a deal with Al-Sareeh SC in the Jordanian Pro League.
Hlalele could be remembered for his top performances and goals for the Tshwane University of Technology in the Varsity Cup.
"Jacob Serame Hlalele, who is affectionately known by his peers within the football circles in South Africa as Papas, has become the first ever South African semi-professional player to secure a professional football contract with Al-Sareeh SC in Jordan Pro League," the player's representative Baggio Collen confirmed to the Siya crew.
"The boy was once on the radar of a few PSL clubs after scooping the Golden Boot award in the Varsity Cup a few seasons ago while playing for TUT," Collen added.
