A former professional footballer who has plied trade in Mzansi and abroad is currently in search of a new coaching opportunity after parting ways with his most recent club.
Following his spell with Venda Football Academy in the second tier, Rowan Hendricks has left the club as part of his plans for next season.

During his playing career, Hendricks played for Ajax Cape Town (now known as Cape Town Spurs), Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany, FC Rostov in Russia and SuperSport United among some of the clubs.
For more than 10 years, he has been coaching, having started in the youth ranks and all the way up to the second tier.
It has been confirmed to the Siya crew by sources close to his camp that the mentor is in search of new opportunities after parting ways with VFA.
"Rowan Hendricks has parted ways with Venda Football Academy. The coach is happy with the opportunity that he was given by the club to coach their team but he has decided that it was time to move on and resigned," confirmed the source.

"There are already a few options that are being discussed for the coach and he is assessing them. He holds a CAF A licence and he is someone with experience since his playing days and is now a qualified coach and will be an asset to any club. He played overseas and worked with Foppe de Haan at Ajax (now called Cape Town Spurs)," the source said.
