With South Africa having less players playing in Europe, Pitso Mosimane has noted a shortcoming after Marshall Munetsi was signed by Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Bafana Bafana have been dominated by players in the PSL, with the majority in the regular line-up from Mamelodi Sundowns.

After Lyle Foster dropped down a division to the Championship with his English side Burnley, South Africa was left without any representative in the Premier League.
Compared to old days of the early 2000s and going way back to 1990s, South Africa used to have a large contingent of players plying their trade abroad and regulars in their teams.
Former Pirates midfielder Marshall Munetsi has, however, become a PSL success story, after he was signed by Wolves from French side Stade Reims, who acquired from the Buccaneers.

Mosimane has suggested that sticking to one position for players in the PSL could be limiting their growth and adaptability as footballers to make it abroad.
"I was watching Wolves playing Man United, I saw Munetsi the boy who was playing for Orlando Pirates and they used him as a midfielder but he was playing as a nine (for Wolves), as a striker," Mosimane said on The Dan Corder Show on eNCA.
"It just shows that international football and local football are totally different. I was playing as a striker at Cosmos, Sundowns, suddenly when I went to Europe they put me as a winger. Probably I didn't score enough or was not strong enough to be a nine.
"It's positioning, where the coach feels he can get the best out of you. We have the flair, we play well but as long as we don't have players in Ligue 1, La Liga, Primeira Liga, in the Premier League, Serie A... We can say we're good but we need players in that level because others will follow," Mosimane suggested.
Munetsi's evolution started with him as a centre-back at Ezimnyama and was switched to a midfielder in France.
