Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane has said that Cape Town City were more motivated, which is why they beat his team in their Absa Premiership match on Sunday.
City Sink Winless Downs At Loftus
Sundowns played only their second league game of the season, after games were postponed to accommodate their successful CAF Champions League campaign, and the match against Eric Tinkler's team ended in a 2-1 defeat, which Mosimane has said was a result of their determination to beat his team.
"I think they did very well," he told journalists. "They played well as they were more fresh than us and that they wanted it more."
Manyama Credits Tinkler For Game Plan
The former Bafana Bafana coach went on to praise City's successful strategy on the pitch and praised their quality.
"They played well as a team and they attacked us throughout and I think they deserved a win. They are a good team and we cannot take that away from them," Mosimane concluded.
