The U23 South Africa international plied his trade on-loan with NFD club Moroka Swallows last season. The player's contract was due to come to an end with the Soweto giants at the end of the season, while three PLS clubs were keen on landing his services, as reported early in June by the Siya crew.
However, the Buccaneers have acted quickly, and offered the 19-year-old talent a new three-year deal with the club.
"Tercious has signed a new three-year deal with Pirates. He won't be going on loan. Coach Muhsin likes the boy and wants to use him this season," a source close to the club's dealings explained to the Siya crew.
Before joining his teammates in the famous black and white ahead of the new season, the defender will be representing South Africa in Brazil for the 2016 Olympic Games next month, under mentorship of Owen Da Gama.
