Bloemfontein Celtic have broken their silence on the rumoured sale of the status of the club to a team currently in the National First Division.
There have been suggestions behind closed doors that Ajax Cape Town have emerged as potential new buyers as they attempt to fast track their return to top-flight football after they were relegated this time last year.

But Mandla Tshabalala, lawyer and cousin of Celtic chairman Max Tshabalala, poured cold water on word doing the rounds that Phunya Sele Sele had already sold it's Premier League status to Ajax.
"Look, we are not saying Celtic is not for sale. But to our knowledge there has not been any formal offer from Ajax – it is a rumour as far as we know," he told the Siya crew this week.
"I think it has been public information for a while now that should the right offer come around, Celtic would be willing to sell. We are open to offers being tabled and it is just about agreeing terms."

The Ajax rumoured sale relates to a Premier League status being bought, which would need to be approved by the executive committee. But Celtic did have a potential change of ownership go up in smoke when, in September last year, Sinki Leshabane and Dr Moeketsi Mosola were spooked by a R43-million debt owed to SARS as well as finding out that there were two companies registered as Celtic. Despite all these challenges, as well as players going on strike on several occasions during the season that has just ended, Celtic still miraculously managed to finish in the Top 8 and displaced the mighty Kaizer Chiefs.
