National First Division side Santos are not underestimating their Nedbank Cup Last 32 opponents, Gamalakhe United, when the two lock horns at Athlone Stadium on Wednesday night.
The match is scheduled to get underway at 19h30.
Despite being two leagues above their opponents the side from Cape Town are expecting a tough match against the side from the SAFA Second Division.
The People's Team come into this Last 32 encounter on the back of 4-1 defeat at the hands of Chippa United and will want to secure their passage into the Last 16 ahead of an important National First Division clash with Milano United this coming weekend.
With Santos slipping down to eighth in the standings, they are hopeful a positive result on Wednesday night will get them back on track.
Gamalakhe, who are based in KwaZulu-Natal, are playing in this round of the Nedbank Cup for the first time in their history, and under the guidance of Coach Keketso Mokoatle, they will no doubt be looking to cause an upset when the two sides meet.
