Mpumalanga Black Aces are waiting in the shadows with hopes of swooping to snatch defender Punch Masenamela from Mamelodi Sundowns.
In this week's edition of Soccer Laduma, the Siya crew revealed that Aces are keeping an eye on the former Bafana Bafana defender's situation at the club, with high ranking officials within the camp revealing that he is a target for coach Clive Barker.
Masenamela is in the last year of his contract, but Soccer Laduma sources have indicated that the player remains in Sundowns' plans despite interest from elsewhere.
"Punch is staying. They are keeping him, I think it's going to happen. There has been a delay because the team has been focused on winning the league," said the source.
