Moloi: Pirates Showed Their Superiority

Following his side's 4-2 loss to Orlando Pirates on Sunday, Chippa United coach Teboho Moloi has bemoaned the fact his side conceded while they were a man down.

Chippa started well and even took the lead, but Pirates fought back and went ahead midway through the second half.

Moloi's men, though, rallied and managed to equalise only for some poor defending to cost them in the end.

"The third and the fourth goals were from one man down and a lack of concentration. Andile Mbenyane was still being addressed. They [Pirates] showed their superiority when they have an extra player on the field. That's how they scored the third goal," Moloi told SuperSport after the game.

"The fourth goal was a lack of concentration at the back and they got the ball, but all-in-all I am happy. It was a good advert for South African football.

"The supporters got their money worth, even though we were on the losing side. I feel that a draw would have been a fair result of the game.

"All-in-all, the players played very well."
