The former Kaizer Chiefs star, once dubbed the next Doctor Khumalo, has been playing in the lower ranks since his spell with Black Leopards ended last year. He has failed to land a deal in the PSL, with most clubs apparently not keen to take him aboard due to his alleged wayward ways.
He was last on the books of Roses United, who have since been relegated to the ABC Motsepe League. According to sources, the Daveyton-born player has been training at the academy, under the watchful eye of Harold 'Jazzy Queen' Legodi.
"Yes, he has been training here and playing friendly games with the academy side for some time now. He has been doing well and looking impressive. I am not sure what his future plans are, but I am sure he can still cut it in the elite league," added the source.

Nkambule's phone rang unanswered when the crew called the former junior international, but Soccer Laduma will be keeping tabs on his next move.
