Floyd Mbele has re-joined Orlando Pirates as the club's administrator, just under two years after leaving the post.
It was announced last week that Senzo Mazingiza, Pirates' administrative manager, had left the Buccaneers to join Platinum Stars as Dikwena's Football Manager after being offered a five-year deal.
Now Mbele has confirmed that he is once again an employee at Parktown after taking up the administrator position that he left back in August of 2011.
When contacted Mbele told the Siya crew, "Yes, I'm back with Pirates now, you know what they say, once a Pirate, always a Pirate."
It is believed that Mbele will begin his duties with Pirates as soon as possible, as he looks to step straight into the gap that was left behind by Mazingiza when he left for Platinum Stars, completing a full circle of movements for the new administrator.
Mbele will no doubt have obtained his post by the time that Pirates play their first game of the season, against AC Leopards in the CAF Champions League on July 20th.
Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs will clash on July 27, with the title of 2013 Carling Black Label Cup champions up for grabs.
