Bafana Bafana international, May Mahlangu, says that he's enjoying life at IFK Goteborg after scoring his first goal for the club.
The 24-year-old scored the opener for Goteborg as they beat Ayanda Nkili's Orebro this weekend, his first goal since returning from a lengthy spell on the sidelines with an Achilles injury.
Goteborg, who signed the midfielder earlier this year, are yet to lose when Mahlangu has featured for them, winning three and losing three of his six appearances, and he says that he's happy with how things have been going so far.
Speaking to Göteborgs-Posten, the midfielder said, "As long as we are creating chances, it is good for the team. I'm glad that we do, then it's easier that things happen and it's just a matter of time before we can exploit the chances even better than we do now.
"Now that we are three of us centrally, we've found a balance in the middle where that means we can leverage each other better. We try to keep the ball more and my role is to use my speed and technique to move forward. I think it has worked well."
Mahlangu's side currently sit in sixth place on the Allsvenskan standings, six points behind leaders, Malmo FF.
