Golden Arrows head coach Mandla Ncikazi has reacted to the controversial opening goal against Orlando Pirates on Tuesday evening.
Arrows climbed to fourth in the DStv Premiership with a 2-0 victory over the Soweto giants at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.
There was a bit of controversy surrounding Pule Mmodi's first goal as there were two balls on the pitch at the same time, although the appeals were waved away.
"I didn't see two balls, it was two tens, if that was the case unfortunate but if we benefited from that let it be," Ncikazi told SuperSport when asked about the goal.
The Arrows coach also had special praise for Mmodi, who was named Man of the Match after netting a brace.
"We spoke with him [Mmodi], he has been the one taking a lot of shots ahead of every player in the team but you could see the frustration was creeping in because he was not scoring.
"We encouraged him, keep on doing that if you don't play a shot you'll never make it, keep on putting the effort, I'm happy it paid [off] today, I'm very proud of him."
