Mamelodi Sundowns' goalkeeper, Wayne Sandilands is currently waiting on management to make a decision about his short-term future at the club.
Like other senior players such as Thabo Nthethe and Hlompho Kekana, Sandilands is also currently in the final stages of his contract with Sundowns and will see his existing deal come to an end in June 2017.
Sandilands has played an influential role in the team's domestic and continental success since joining up with the Brazilians in 2009 from Platinum Stars.
However, the player's future is yet to be decided and in issue 997 of Soccer Laduma, Sandilands' representative, Glyn Binkin of The Players Club, revealed that contractual talks between the two parties are yet to be initiated.

"The team has been focused on the Champions League, and rightfully so, so it hasn't been an ideal time to engage with the club on any contract discussions. I'm hopeful to be meeting with the relevant people in the club in the near future to see if and what plans they have for Wayne going forward," Binkin said at the time.
Both Sandilands and Kennedy Mweene have played second fiddle to first-choice Denis Onyango, and were both linked with an exit from the club in the past.
However, it remains to be seen whether Sundowns will look to extend Sandilands stay at the club and with Mweene currently standing in for the injured Onyango, a third-choice keeper will be key to Sundowns' Absa Premiership title-defending campaign.
