Mamelodi Sundowns are one of the clubs with experienced and quality players in every position.

One week before the transfer window deadline on August 31, The Brazilians had 27 players registered for the season.

With the new lists having been issued by the league, it is notable that Sundowns added 11 more players to Pitso Mosimane's squad for the season.

The players added to the team with their late registrations are Bryce Moon, Katlego Mashego, Glenn Verbauwhede, Lindokuhle Mbatha, Motjeka Madisha, Mpho Mathekga, Rheece Evans, Samuel Julies, Tiyani Mabunda, Seun Ledwaba and Sibusiso Kumalo.

There are notable absentees from the list from the players that have been on the club's books last season.

Those players include Kudakwashe Mahachi, Luyolo Nomandela, Ejike Uzoenyi, Mukuka Mulenga, Nyasha Mushekwi and Hichani Himoonde.

Colombian striker Leonardo Castro and Ivorian defender Soumahoro Bangaly are expected to be added to the squad, subject to the completion of their registration and the availability of their papers from the Department of Home Affairs.
