Esrom Nyandoro, Rodney Ramagalela and Khama Billiat have expressed their delight at winning the title.
The Brazilian wrapped up the title on Tuesday nigh by thrashing SuperSport United but could lift the actual trophy after their 1-1 draw with Maritzburg United.
Midfielder, Esrom Nyandoro, has not featured as much as he use to but was happy that team's hard work has paid off.
"The boys were unbelievable this year," said Nyandoro.
"We worked so hard, all the credit must go to the players, the technical staff and to our fans, this for you, we love you."
Rodney Ramagalela, who joined Sundowns this season, believes the teams effort to bounce back from defeates, helped them clinch the title.
