Malawi Appoint Ernest Mtawali As Head Coach
Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Ernest Mtawali has been appointed as Malawi national team caretaker coach. The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) CEO Suzgo Nyirenda confirmed to the Siya crew that Mtawali will hold the reigns for a short time. Nyirenda said Mtawali will have his first assignment on July 6. "Yes Mtawali is our new coach. It's on a temporary basis because the new coach will be appointed on August 1 this year," Nyirenda said.
