Lee Baxter Departs SuperSport United

SuperSport United will be on the lookout for a new goalkeeper coach after Lee Baxter took on a position at Danish Superliga outfit, AGF Aarhus. Read: Pieterse: Why I Left Chiefs The 40-year-old came in alongside his father, Stuart Baxter, earlier this year following the departure of Gordon Igesund, and the club's number one, Ronwen Williams, spoke very highly of the coach during his time there. Now, however, Baxter Snr. and SuperSport's management will be looking to try and find somebody else to help Williams, new signing, Reyaad Pieterse, and Boalefa Pule in the 2016/17 Absa Premiership season. With the Baxter's help, SuperSport managed to turn around a tough season by finishing inside the top eight and landing the Nedbank Cup title after being on the brink of missing out on the MTN8 for the first time in over a decade. Baxter Jnr's appointment at Aarhus was confirmed today on the club's official website.
