Read: Agent On Anele's Future The 28-year-old Racing Genk defender is currently stuck in a difficult situation in Belgium after falling drastically down the pecking order at the club, and it is thought that he may be tempted by the opportunity to return to South Africa, however, he does still have two years left on his contract. It has previously been reported by the Siya crew that the player's fate lies solely in the hands of his employers, and it remains to be seen as to whether they would be willing to terminate his contract or ask for a transfer fee from any potential suitor. The crew spoke to the player's agent, Mike Makaab, who says that they will be meeting with Genk in the near future, and only then will they know what lies ahead for the Bafana Bafana international. While Makaab wouldn't mention clubs, he did confirm that their have been enquiries, saying, "A few clubs have enquired, but we have to meet with Genk to see what the situation is with them." Ngcongca spent last season on loan with French Ligue 1 outfit, Troyes, however, got injured towards the end of the season and wasn't able to help with their – ultimately unsuccessful – attempt to stay in the division.
