Kaizer Chiefs' Lorenzo Gordinho Should Know His Aalborg Fate Today

Lorenzo Gordinho is expected to find out today whether Danish side, Aalborg, will be pushing Kaizer Chiefs for his signature or not. Read: Gordinho Gets 90 Minutes In Germany The 22-year-old played 90 minutes for AaB on Saturday afternoon as they were downed 2-0 by Bundesliga outfit, Hoffenheim, with his goalline clearance not enough to help them avoid defeat. Now, after returning to Denmark from Germany, Gordinho is likely to be told at some point today whether he impressed head coach, Morten Wieghorst, and his technical team, before flying back to South Africa at some stage tomorrow. As things stand Gordinho is expected to return to training at Naturena later on this week as the Amakhosi continue their preparations for the second-half of the season. Given that his contract at Chiefs expires at the end of the season, Gordinho could be a cheap option for Aalborg if they wish to snap him up now, although it remains to be seen whether they do want to sign him or whether the Glamour Boys would be willing to sell. The player is expected back in South Africa on Wednesday.
