A 24-year-old Honduran, Junior Sandoval, is currently on trial at SuperSport United as he attempts to try and land himself a contract in Tshwane.
The attacking midfielder, who plays for Atlanta Silverbacks in the United States of America, has scored seven goals in 24 games for the second-tier American side so far this season, and is looking to make the move overseas.
Sandoval was born in Honduras but raised in the USA, playing college soccer from a young age before signing professional with Puerto Rico Islanders in 2010.
The midfield man has spent his whole career so far in America except for a short stint with Marathon in the country of his birth, but is believed to be keen on leaving the US.
It remains to be seen whether the midfielder will have done enough to secure himself a deal at SuperSport, with head coach Gordon Igesund, still running the rule over him at present.
