Jomo Cosmos Coach Ephraim Sono Says Defender Thabo Ralebakeng Needs time

Jomo Cosmos Coach Ephraim Sono Says Defender Thabo Ralebakeng Needs time

Jomo Cosmos coach Ephraim Sono tells the Siya crew that his newly signed left back Thabo Ralebakeng needs an extra week to get back to match fitness.

The information comes after the crew has learnt that defender was set to debut for Ezenkosi as they face Black Leopards this afternoon.

The gifted 21-year old player was set to make a huge impact for the Free State-based NFD outfit in their quest to return to the elite league.

Speaking to the club's owner/coach, Jomo, said the player is showing good signs of recovery as he started training later than others.

"Yes I'm happy with his progress so far but he needs an extra week to regain match fitness. I don't think he's ready to play for us yet. He's registered and is our player but he needs time. He's a great player and there's no doubt about that," said Sono.

Ezenkosi welcome Lidoda Duvha today at Isak Steyl Stadium, Vanderbijlpark and the proceedings get underway at 15:00.
