The Ndwedwe-born player endured a tough campaign with the Clever Boys in 2014/15, only managing two goals in 27 appearances. With coach Gavin Hunt looking to bring in new players, especially in the striking department, it is likely 'Mpholoba' will find himself surplus to requirements.
The big hitman was linked with a move to the University of Pretoria in January but nothing came out of it. AmaTuks are still keen on the player but a Siya source close to the player has revealed that he is looking to move back to his home province of KZN.
It was reported in this week's Soccer Laduma, issue 928, that Golden Arrows and Maritzburg United look to be leading the race for Ngcobo.

However, with AmaZulu just having secured a return to PSL, they are also likely to join the race for the 31-year-old. The striker began his career at Usuthu and returned for a loan spell from Chiefs in 2013, so it is clear the Durban-based side holds a place in his heart and a move back would not be surprising.
