Arrows appointed Serame Letsoaka as their head coach for the team's first season back in the Premier Soccer League.
The KZN outfit is yet to announce the appointment of Letsoaka's assistant, despite having already started with their pre-season preparations.
According to a Siya crew source, Abafana Bes'thende have looked no further than Sithole for the position of Letsoaka's right hand man.
Sithole is currently the assistant coach to Kinnah Phiri at Free State Stars.
"Golden Arrows are interested in Themba Sithole from Free State Stars. They want him for the position of assistant coach.
"Serame Letsoaka knows Sithole very well. He believes in his abilities and hard work. Sithole is a hard-worker, don't ever doubt him. The people at Stars know that very well and that's why the guy has been with their team for long.
"Letsoaka and Sithole know each other very well. Their relationship dates back from their days as players at Stars. But everything will depend on Stars and if they are willing to allow their assistant coach to leave. But money is money hey," a source told the Siya crew.
