The GladAfrica Championship returned in style after a gap of almost five months with Real Kings beating Cape Umoya United 2-0, while Richards Bay and TS Sporting played to an exciting 2-2 draw.
Kings secured their 36th point thanks to Levy Mashiane and Sedwyn George (penalty).
Decide Chauke opened the scoring for Abantu Bemthetho in the tenth minute after receiving a long pass and using his speed to outwit the Natal Rich Boyz defence with a neat finish, which left goalkeeper, Malcolm Jacobs well out of position.
But man-of-the-match Jacobs redeemed himself later by diving high to deflect Sibongakonke Mbatha's curling drive and made numerous fantastic saves.
The KZN outfit did equalize in the second half via Tony Zwane's long-range effort before Siyabonga Vilane made it 2-1 and just when it looked like they had all three points in the bag, up stepped Percyvell Nkabinde to grab an unlikely draw for lowly Sporting.
These four clubs were playing their round 24 catch-up fixtures.
