AmaZulu are set to offer Rudiger Gilbert a PSL deal, after the short-term deal he signed with Chippa United in February expired at the end of the 2012/13 season.
Usuthu, who have been interested in the player for some time, have invited him for an assessment under the watchful eye of coach Craig Rosslee and his technical team.
The club's assistant coach, Wilfred Mugeyi, has a lot of confidence in Gilbert. Mugeyi recommended the player to the Chilli Boys, while at the helm of the team earlier this year.
Gilbert confirmed to the Siya crew that he has already started training with Usuthu. "I am training with the team already. I think they are planning to sign me. But I just have to wait for them to sit down. Things look promising," said Gilbert.
AmaZulu have already signed Msekeli Mvalo from Chippa, as revealed by Soccer-Laduma earlier today (Tuesday).
