A Ghanaian international who is plying his trade overseas has revealed what he was asked about Siphiwe Tshabalala after the former Bafana Bafana star made a move to Turkey from Kaizer Chiefs.
Ghanaian defender Samuel Inkoom left Turkey in 2018, following a stint with Antalyaspor. This was when Shabba made the shock move to Turkish club, BB Erzurumspor.

Inkoom says he put in a word for the former Chiefs star when questions arose about his age, having spent 11-and-a-half years at the Soweto giants.
"After I played in Turkey for Antalyaspor, Tshabalala came there. They (Turkish media) even asked me about him, because I am African and he is African. I spoke very well about him because I have played against him. You know, for me he is one of the talented players in South Africa," Inkoom told the Siya crew, speaking from Georgia.

"We played a friendly game – South Africa and Ghana (in 2014) and in the 2010 World Cup he played for South Africa and I played for Ghana. He scored the opening goal of the World Cup and yeah I know him very well," the 31-year-old right-back added.
Meanwhile, Inkoom confirmed an interest in a move to Mzansi's top-flight although refrained from further details regarding a return to SA, due to his current contract with Georgian club, Samtredia.
