"They are already planning for next season and looking at the players, they want to bring in other foreign players so Ntwari is one of the players to be sacrificed to open up a foreign space. I think it's all about which goalkeepers they want to keep and that's how it's believed that this decision came about," the insider told the Siya crew.
A second Siya source stated that Christian Saile, currently on loan at SuperSport United, and Edmilson Dove who hasn't featured this season, are also expected to make way next season.
"I don't think they will only look at signing one foreign player as they have different targets and to accommodate those new signings other players like Saile and Dove are also likely to be released. Apparently they don't want to waste time with new signings this time around and that's why they are already planning now," the second source revealed.

Ntwari, originally from Rwanda, joined Amakhosi from TS Galaxy at the start of the season. The 25-year-old had played a few games this season before Bruce Bvuma took over as the first-choice goalkeeper when the Rwandan got injured.
The Siya crew has also reported how Ntwari has been very professional and committed during training sessions after returning from injury, impressing coach Nasreddine Nabi and should be given more opportunities this season. Any plan to transfer Ntwari, the Siya crew understands would only be because of having to balance the foreign quota at Chiefs.
Soccer Laduma reached out to Chiefs for comment on the matter, but there was no response at the time of publication.
