The 28-year-old forward has struggled to break into the first team during his spell at Wits since leaving Santos in his hometown of Cape Town, and it has been speculated for a while now that he could be on his way out.
Ajax Cape Town, who had him on loan last year, were known to be interested in the forward, however they were being put off by the Clever Boys' valuation of the player, something that will now no longer be an issue.
Now, having been handed his clearance by Wits, Isaacs is no longer affected by the transfer window that closes on Monday, meaning that he can think hard about where his next move will be.
It is thought that Isaacs would prefer a return to Cape Town for the 2015/16 season, however he will no doubt have to assess the options available to him.
