Word reaching the Siya crew is that, SuperSport United are keeping a close eye on Ajax Cape Town defender, Thato Mokeke, and his Platinum Stars counterpart, Tshepo Gumede.
Mokeke, 23, has been used sparingly by Ajax so far this season, his last game for them coming back in October when he was being used as a left-back.
However, it seems that the versatile defender, who was once a target for Orlando Pirates, has attracted some attention from Matsatsantsa, who could see him as an exciting purchase towards the future of the club.
Meanwhile, the 22-year-old Gumede has played a vital role as Dikwena went on to secure the MTN8 and Telkom Knockout trophies this season, making the centre back position at the club his own over the last year.
SuperSport are known to be on the lookout for new additions as they prepare for the 2014 CAF Confederation Cup, and it may be that they see the two defenders as possible acquisitions in the next transfer window, or at the end of the season.
