As players continue to join the camp of the South African Under-23 team, a Cape Town City defender has become the latest star to arrive for coach David Notoane and the team in camp in Egypt.
The 21-year old centre-back will be an important addition to Notoane's side in their attempt to qualify for next year's Tokyo Summer Olympic Games.
"It truly is an honour to be here. I would also like to thank the coach (David Notoane) and his technical staff for their trust and belief in me. I will do everything in my might to help the team and contribute in whichever way I can," said Cupido, as quoted on SAFA's official website.
The SA U23s take on Ivory Coast today in their second Africa Cup of Nations Group B match at the Al Salam Stadium.
