Bloemfontein Celtic's chairman, Max Tshabalala, has denied reports linking the club with Ajax Cape Town and the talked about relocation to the Western Cape.
Reports have been circulating and indicating that Celtic could be sold to the Urban Warriors, who are believed to be keen to return to South Africa's top-flight, following their unsuccessful attempt at promotion from the National First Division in their first season in the second tier.

The Mother City club finished in fourth place on the NFD log, though they were tied on the same number of points (51) with Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC, but lower on goal difference.
Speaking to the Siya crew, the Siwelele boss dismissed reports suggesting that Celtic intend to sell their top-flight status. The chairman has indicated that the club would want to build for next season after their top eight finish in the 2018/19 campaign.
"Look, that's not true. Ari (Efstathiou, Ajax CEO) and I know each other very well. We haven't spoken (about the sale). If Ari wanted to do something, he would have spoken to me. Likewise, I would have done the same, you understand? These rumours are just to destabilise the team. In all of these stories about the sale, there is nowhere that I or Ari have been quoted confirming. It's just sources," said Tshabalala.

Following last year's failed attempts from Sinki Leshabane and Dr Moeketsi Mosola, who wanted to buy Celtic, Tshabalala says the club is no longer for sale.
"We are working on the team. We are in top eight and will have bigger challenges next season. It (Ajax sale) is not true at all. I know Ari and I respect him very much. I haven't seen him commenting about it and we haven't even spoken about it," added the chairman.
"It's (Celtic) no longer (for sale). Remember that the club was for sale because there was a local buyer that the supporters wanted. The local buyers ended up not buying and the team is still there and we are running it. We are making sure that we prepare ourselves for the top eight," he concluded.
