Amajita Skipper and goalkeeper, Khulekani Khubheka says he is ready to lead the men's South African U-20 national side when they take on Malawi in the second leg of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers.
The former U-17 keeper says his journey has moulded him to take on the role of leading the Amajita side this weekend.
"We wanted to win the first leg game because it was here at home, but it's also said that if you can win then protect what you have, so even though we didn't win we didn't give away an away goal," said Khubheka.
"So going into the second leg we have something to impact the game and everybody knows how important this game will be. This is the last 90 minutes that will take us to AFCON so we just need (to) go there and score the away goal which will give us the advantage," added the Amajita skipper.
Amjita are set to depart for Blantyre in Malawi on Thursday where they will take on Malawi on Saturday 21 July 2018.
