Absa Premiership Match Report: Bloemfontein Celtic 1-1 SuperSport United 03 February 2016
Absa Premiership   Score: Bloemfontein Celtic 1-1 SuperSport United   Date: 03 February 2016   Venue: Dr Molemela Stadium   Bloemfontein Celtic and SuperSport United were forced to share the spoils, after the two sides played out to a 1-1 draw at the  Dr Molemela Stadium.   Fiston Abdul Razak squandered a glorious chance to hand Celtic the lead after two minutes, when he blazed over the crossbar from inside the area.   SuperSport could have gone ahead in the 22nd minute when Dove Wome played Thuso Phala through on goal, however the winger fired straight at Patrick Tignyemb from six-yards out.   Jeremy Brockie missed a glorious opening to hand the visitors the lead in the 31st minute, as he fired over the crossbar from close range, after being picked out by Phala.   It was an open affair in the first half and Celtic nearly took the lead in the 33rd minute, as Lyle Lakay's free-kick sailed inches wide of the upright.   Celtic eventually broke the deadlock in the 39th minute as Abdul Razak rose well to head home Lakay's cross. His first goal since making the move from Sundowns.   After an entertaining opening 45 minutes, the score remained 1-0 to the home side at the break.   Play was abandoned in the 52nd minute, due the lightning and the players and coaching staff made their way back to the change-rooms.   The eventually restarted and Celtic nearly doubled their lead in the 55th minute but Ronwen Williams produced a fine save to keep out Musa Nyatama's effort from 20-yards out.   SuperSport leveled matters in the 62nd minute as Luvolwethu Mpeta embarked on a fine solo run, before firing past Tignyemb at the second time of asking.   Brockie was presented with another opening after 70 minutes but the New Zealand forward fired just wide of the mark from close range.   However, the score remained 1-1 at the final whistle, as both sides picked up a point on a rainy evening in at the Dr Molemela Stadium.   Here's how they lined up:   Bloemfontein Celtic: Tignyemb, Rikhotso, Fransman, Lakay, Jooste, Ndengane, Nyatama, Morena, Abdoul,  Matuka, Lamola   SuperSport United: Williams, Boxall, Booysen, Daniels, Mpeta, Furman, Mokeke, Phala, Wome, Nkhatha, Brockie
