Baroka came out firing with their first effort on goal in the second minute, but Jose Garcia saw his shot from the edge of the box well-saved by Tapuwa Kapini.

Five minutes later Sepana Letsoalo pushed forward for Baroka, but he saw his long range effort sail wide of the target.

In the 16th minute Highlands had their first shot on goal courtesy of Peter Shalulie, but his shot from just outside the box was superbly saved by Oscarine Masuluke.

The last real scoring chance of the half fell to Mothobi Mvala in the 36th minute when he broke behind the Baroka defence, but he fired over the target.

The half ended 0-0.

The second half started very slowly with the first chance on goal only coming on the hour mark when

Muzi Thabotha unleashed a powerful shot from just outside the box, but the Baroka keeper made a good save to deny him.

The only other real chance of the half came ten minutes before time when Mzwanele Mahashe met a cross from Mduduzi Mdatsane, but he headed over the Highlands goal.

Neither side could find a winner in the last ten minutes in what was a poor game from two teams in the relegation zone.

Baroka remain rooted to the foot of the table, while Highlands have dropped to 15th spot, following Chippa United's big win over SuperSport United.
