Following Orlando Pirates' announcement that Muhsin Ertugral will replace Eric Tinkler as the man in charge to steer the Buccaneers' ship ahead of the 2016/17 campaign, we look at five coaches that have called the shots at both Pirates and their Soweto rivals, Kaizer Chiefs.    Read: Ertugral Appointed As New Bucs Coach   Augusto Palacios   - In his first stint as Chiefs coach, the Peruvian-born mentor won the Castle Challenge as well as the Iwisa Spectacular Charity Cup. In 1995 in his second stint, Chiefs finished as runners-up in The Iwisa Spectacular and Coca-Cola Cup. - The Orlando Pirates development coach took over the interim duties in 2012 after the Mayfair-outfit opted to part ways with Dutch coach Ruud Krol. The Peruvian led Bucs to their PSL title defence after a 4-2 win over Golden Arrows.   Ted Dumitru    - The late 'Professor' Ted had a short stint at Pirates between 1999 and 2000 where he led them to an African Cup Winners' Cup semi-final spot as well as the BP Top8 trophy in 2000. After joining Amakhosi, Dumitru won back-to-back PSL titles at Naturena in the 2003–04 and 2004–05 seasons.   Muhsin Ertugral   - Renowned for believing in youngsters and somewhat of a 'Cup Specialist' during his time at Chiefs, the Turkish tactician held two stints with Amakhosi between 1999 -2003 as well as 2007-2009. He never won the league title there but led them to the African Cup Winners Cup continental title. In 2001, under his tutelage, Chiefs were also named the African Club of the Year, capping that off with a 5-0 demolition of Jomo Cosmos in the 2001 Coca-Cola Cup final.  - The newly selected Bucs coach becomes the latest foreign coach to join a list of men to be in charge of the country's two biggest clubs.    Kosta Papic    - The much-travelled Serbian coach, who has fondly become known as Bill Clinton or 'Attack Attack' for his philosophical offensive display, is one coach that had the pleasure to coach both Soweto giants. Pirates enjoyed some of their most attractive football under the tutelage of Papic despite not winning any titles during his brief spell between 2006 2007. His stay at Chiefs lasted no more than three months.   Vladimir Vermezovic    - The Serbian mentor arrived at Naturena in 2009 and stay until 2012. He was a relatively unknown figure and led Chiefs to successive Telkom Knockout titles in 2010/11 and 2011/12 before being sacked after failing to claim the league title in his third season.   - Upon his return from Serbia, where he had an unsuccessful stint at Partizan Belgrade, 'VV' joined Bucs in 2014, leading them to a Nedbank Cup title but resigned just a few days before the Soweto Derby.
