A Group Of Kaizer Chiefs Fans To Boycott Games Until CAF Participation Assured

The Siya crew have learnt that a group of Kaizer Chiefs fans, including some of the supporters branches, are planning to boycott games until they have been assured that the Amakhosi will be participating in this year's CAF Champions League.

Chiefs, who have qualified for the continent's major club competition by virtue of finishing second in the PSL, are yet to confirm that they will be taking part in this year's edition.

Bobby Motaung said at the end of last month that the club would make a decision on whether they will participate soon, and said that their deadline would be in September on whether or not to participate.

This has angered certain sectors of Amakhosi supporters who have told the Siya crew that they want Chiefs to guarantee their involvement.

Soccer Laduma will continue to monitor the situation.
