Orlando Pirates' campaign where to add five more players on the list of the club legends to make it complete at 80 is currently underway.
So far, the Buccaneers have confirmed 75 players selected from different generations from over the years that are to be inducted into official Legendary Status of the club.
The Soweto giants are giving the fans an opportunity to select the next five former Pirates players to be inducted into official Legendary Status of the club to complete the required list of 80 in total.
The five pillars Pirates is built on, include Community (1937-'57), Strength (1957-'67), Fight (1967-'77), Loyalty (1977-'97) and Respect (1997- 2018).
Some of the former Pirates included on the list of 75 of club legends include Bashin Mahlangu, Phil Setshedi, Ephraim Mashaba, Etienne Ntsunda, Thabo Mngomeni, Ernest Makhanya, Nick Seshweni, Helman Mkhalele, William Okpara, Johannes Khomane, Brandon Silent, Denis Lota, John Moeti, Steve Lekoelela, Kaizer Motaung, Jerry Sikhosana, Mark Fish, Gavin Lane, Patson Banda, Eric Sono, Jomo Sono, Percy Moloi and Edward Motale.
Soccer Laduma has been contacted by the club to be involved in the campaign as they have decided that after 80 years of legendary football, the club will be inducting five more Legends to the current list of 75.
Fans have been invited to be part of the campaign, where they will get to vote for their Legend.
